HOW DO YOU BECOME A STEEL MIMOSA?

Potential new members must be nominated by a current Steel Mimosa and granted membership by the Board. If you are unsure if you know a Steel Mimosa personally, you can submit your name for consideration at steelmimosas@gmail.com or you can simply fill out the interest form at the bottom of this page!

WHY DID I RECEIVE AN INVITATION?

One of our members has nominated you for membership.  You are a giving person. You feel for our community the same way we do.  For all our other efforts we do through various organizations, this is by far the easiest.  Simply get together 4 times a year.  Have a great time.  Donate $100.  The mission is simple.

WHAT DO WE GET OUT OF BEING A MEMBER?

A great time – 4-times a year.  And a warmed heart knowing our $100 donation is going to an organization that really needs the support.  The organization receiving the donation will vary.

IS THIS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE?

The checks for $100 will be written directly to the non-profit organization selected for that quarter, so it should be tax-deductible.   Keep record of your checks and check with your tax advisor.

WHO ARE MEMBERS?

There are currently over 100 Steel Mimosas members.  You likely already know many of the amazing women you are members.  The more members, the more impact we can make.

Please reply to the membership email you received and let us know if you wish to accept the nomination and become a member of the Steel Mimosas.  If you choose to join, once we receive your response, you will be added to our private facebook page where you will receive information updates, be able to nominate non-profits, and interact with our amazing members.
